I got a special deal from Impact Gel and wanted to pass the cost saving along to those who have supported us the most so we are running a special on all Impact Gel pad mile buster pads for the HDForum members for the month of October.
To get these prices just mention you saw the HDForums add when scheduling. This sale is good for all seats getting the Impact Gel Mile Buster Inserts installed.
Impact Gel installed driver seat $100
Passenger seat $80
These prices do not include return shipping. Return shipping cost really depends on the size of the box you use to ship your seat to us in but as long as the box isn't oversized a lot shipping usually runs $12-16.
If you want to take advantage of this sale just give us a call to schedule 866-550-SEAT(7328) We do require a $25 deposit to schedule but the deposit is taken off the total so if you get the driver's seat done with the Impact gel, when your seat is ready to ship back your total would be $75 plus whatever the return shipping is.
One quick note. On the 2009-2010 Electra and Ultra glides. If you have a early version of the 09 seat there isn't any issues installing the Impact gel pads but the later versions and 2010 seats we cannot install them because of the large air pockets in these seats. On these seats we have to do the double decker modification to build the seat back up from the seat pan so we can fill in all the voids the air pockets have created. I should have mentioned that earlier but it slipped my mind...sorry. I haven't seen any other touring seat with this problem just the Electra/Ultra glide seats.
I'm going to purchase the 2010 Limited Ultra and wanted to know if you have any pics of what the 2010 seat will look like after the double decker mod is done and what months of manufacturer for the early 09 seat will work for the gel mod? Thanks again.
I know you said for the month of October, but what if we schedule and/or pay now, but don't send the seat in until December/January? I don't want to miss the last of the cold Utah fall riding season.

I haven't seen any seats from the 09 models that were made before Jan 1st with the air pockets so before Jan 1st is pretty safe to say that it will be one of the better seats.
As far as pictures go. I have trouble seeing much difference because the seat basically looks stock but got to page 12 in my customer rides page and the last two bikes on the page. One had the memory foam modification and the other the double decker, I am thinking the blue bike had the double decker but I could be wrong, they look basically stock just by appearance. http://www.meancitycycles.com/gallery.php

You can schedule now for which ever month you want and we will honor the offer. So if you want to schedule for January to have the Impact gel installed that will be fine and we will honor the offer then. As good as this is going I think they will continue to give me the better deal on the pads or at least I hope they do.
Ok so without a doubt I can't have the gel put in my 2010 seat only the double decker correct? I just want the driver area done as I don't ride 2-up and my only question is that will my driver area appear a little puffy and stand out from my unmodified pass area? My bike is due in on Nov 4th so I wont be able to get the seat out until the following week but if I pay now is there an Oct. discount on the double decker for my seat? Thanks

No the seat will not look puffy, it will basically look stock but when you sit on it, it won't feel stock.
Unfortunately the memory foam modifications are not included in the discount just the impact gel. I got hit by another price increase by the foam manufacturer early this year and the foam prices are as low as I can get them...sorry.
