That bag will be a trash bag cause thats what will happen to your bike. Any moisture in there when you close up the bag will stay in there cause thats what that material is meant to do. Do like others have said, spray it, if ya could, section off a small part of your garage and do the light bulb trick in there.

I just attended a seminar on storing classic vehicles today. The retired GM engineer said the best kept car he ever saw was an old Packard stored for 15 years in a unheated barn that the owner sealed in plastic just the way you are thinking about. The farmer was going to tear the barn down and he had to get it out.

He said he helped get it out and going. They put fresh gas in and a battery. It fired up and they drove it to the new storage location.

He said it does not matter that it is cold storage or heated. The main thing is keep the moisture out. The only thing to do better was to get some bags of decondescent (sp) and seal it in with the car.

Ditto that i store my 2007 rk at the local harley dealer from dec 15 till march 15 for 185.00 which includes oil change all three holes and a full detail. ps i live in northern nj. This deal is too good to pass up for someone who's invested approx 25 grand in his scoot and doesn't have a garage
