anyone use the road6customs lowering kits for FL models ? just put one on my 08 FLHT and when I hit like a bridge junction with a big dip, I know not a good description but hopefully you'll get the picture, I hear metal hard. the kit is fairly easy to install and sure enuf, lowers the bike to look good, IMO.
if you are using them, what kind of air pressure are you running in your shocks vs your weight running solo. I run about 9 psi on the shocks and I'm about 200 lbs.
never had this problem before installing the lowering kit. are the kits WAS ?
or does anyone have a better suggestion for lowering?
Have the same kit and use the 1" additional drop hole. I keep 23psi in my shocks solo for my 185 lbs. I usually double that when my 125 lbs passenger rides. I believe the psi shock values differ in 09 from the previous years.
