30 yrs of riding.. within the last 10 yrs I have had leathers stolen . and last month they stole my helmet off my bike. I have an idea of who it was.

I went out and bout me one of those down tube locks (shown earlier in thread) both helmets are locked up now.. Freakin thieves . I hate em.

I have the same H-D helmet lock as Schumacher but I rarley use it.

I usually just hang my lid off the brake side foot pedal with my baseball hat and glasses.

When I'm on my Sporty I just set my helmet and gloves on the seat. I had a pair of gloves swiped at my local HD dealer, but nobody's ever messed with my lid.

I just hang mine on the bars with my gloves in it. I've never had a problem. Of course, I'm in Texas where you can get shot for screwing with other people's stuff. So, most folks here just leave things alone.

I put it over my sissy bar pad and lock it to the sissy bar, with a short plastic covered cable, I made up and a small cheap lock.

I hang my FF helmet chin bar on the rear right turn signal. Then I run a small cable lock through the rear wheel, over the rear fender, and through the chin bar.

In the saddle bag, in the tour pak, or hanging on the right handlebar grip.

Default just be careful

Just make sure if you leave it on the seat that it is secure. I was on a ride out west a few years back. After a long riding day and a helmet covered in bug guts I left it on the seat and it must've rolled off. Came back and it was in the grass and covered in ants. they were feasting on the smashed bugs. I didn't think I'd ever get them out.
