Hmmm, from the pictures it appears that the compressor is a separate unit. The SAS that I installed was a one piece unit that contained the compressor/shocks and bolted to the stock shock mount locations.
The canister is for EVAP emmisions and only on Calif. bikes. I do like the way they fit it all in and the compressor mount is well thought out. Show pics when you are done with the install.

My 2008 Crossbones had bolts in there. Not sure why they were in there, but they were. The Exile coil replacement kit uses these holes to mount the relo bracket.
Did you have to cut the plastic bracket (for the emissions cannister) to make room for the compressor?
