Thank you Sir. I'll try that this evening. After mucho thought about the whole deal, I think that makes sense.

I would think the CC and rider backrest was the best MOD i did on my EGC. If i can help it i will never have a bike w/o cruise.

Just installed CC on my 10'.
CC worked right out of the box, no download needed from dealer.
If the brake light stays on, make sure the brake Assembly and switch Assembly is
tight against each other.
No pulling pins out for cabling, just adding new prewired pins.
Plug and play.

Did your 10' RG come with the star wheel under the switch for throttle friction adjustment? If so what did you do to have some friction after the switch housing change?

Thanks

No . . .

Saved $100 installing myself vs ordering with the new bike.
Just worked that way . . .
Having CC is like garage door opener, once you have it, its a must have.

Duh. Came home today and took the rh switches off. Checked the manual for the throttle sensor and grip. The grip had slipped rearward off the splines of the throttle sensor. When I was using the word friction I should have been using the word tension but both kind of apply. Fine now. Thanks for the responses.

Glad to see you figured it out. Just leave a tiny bit end play so the grip twists smoothly, and does not bind.

The CC functions from around 36 to 86 mph. Above or below that is not considered cruising, so they say.
