Would you recommend I do regular or extreme. I want to be moved back and have it more comfortable. With my height would sitting lower in the seat be more comfortable? Thanks Rodney.....

if you comfortable with the stock foam, then the rider's choice would be what you would want. The Extreme moves you back and down and I wouldn't recommend lowering your sitting postion for your height.

I've mailed it off a couple days ago postal service slow but cheaper. The seat I have now moved me forward and higher than my old seat, I actually like the seating position of my old seat, only my wife wasn't comfortable on it. I think you'll receive it in about a week. I should have used UPS. Rodney......

I have a harley reach seat for an ultra 2007 and down. I was wondering if can be lowered a little and seating position is fine. Would you suggest the memory foam or the impact gel. Need it more comfortable for long rides.

I need more information like your height and weight along with inseam before I can make a good recommendation what should work best. If you want to email me allen@meancitycycles.com that information I can make a recommendation on what should work best.

As far as lowering a reach seat, we can a little bit but not much.

Seat turned out great. Much more comfortable than before. I have rode around 350 miles and is breaking in nicely. Thanks Allen

Ok I have an 05 Electraglide classic and was looking at a special mod to the passenger seat.

I love the lower back support and seating position and comfort. I like to run without the tour pack alot of the time since the wife does not want to ride with me. The passenger section looks dorky without the tour pack on. It sits way too high and is too wide.

Is there anything that can be done without lossing the lower back support for the rider? I also want to keep the slot for the rider backrest.

In short "no" That seat is huge and there isn't anyway to make the passenger section any lower and maintain comfort so I would recommend finding a Road Glide seat and using it for solo riding but it won't have the back support the stock seat does but it will look cool and still sit pretty good...sorry man I know that isn't what you are wanting to hear but I would rather be up front than mislead you.

Default Seat Mod

I have a 07 Ultra Classic. I swapped out the standard Harley seat (which actually rode pretty well, but after 75 miles I would get the tail bone ache) for a Mustang (model 75537) seat.

The Mustang seat is significantly wider in the inner thigh area which makes it uncomfortable riding and I now have to lean over when stopped at a light, to keep my foot flat on the ground. But, the Mustang seat actually fits (my butt) a bit better when moving (except for the inner thigh area).

I would like to go back to the Harley seat and have modifications done to it. I am 168 pounds and 5'6" tall. What would you recommend for modification so I can go fill up to fill up (about 180 miles on this bike) without getting uncomfortable?
