Default J&M 7.25" Speaker Install Pics...

We received our first shipment of the J&M 7.25" speakers yesterday and we installed the first set on a 2009 Street Glide. We can honestly say that these new speakers are the real deal. You get speakers that allow you to clearly hear vocals, acoustics, instruments, lows, mids, highs and bass. Bass is what is missing from other aftermarket speakers we have tested and the depth of sound you get with these speakers is simply amazing. The volume is there without distortion or any crackling. When we say the volume is there, we mean LOUD, deep, rich sound that you can't imagine until you actually hear them in action.

We invite our local forum members to visit our showroom for a demo on an 09 Street Glide. You can also bring in your favorite CD, so you can hear the type of music you like being played through these new speakers. Once you hear them, you will see what all the hype is about.

When compared with the stock sized speakers or other aftermarket 5.25" speakers, they look extremely tiny.

We do have a 32 watt amp connected to the J&M speakers as you can see from the photos which do give it an extra kick, but even without the amp, it has more than enough volume at highway speeds.

Installation was not difficult at all. It took us all of 30 minutes to compete.

Let us know if you have a question or if you would like to get a set.

Thanks!

Shawn

They look awesome but the $279 price tag is pretty hard to justify for me.

Looks like it should ROCK.

I am womdering what that white pipe is on top of the inner fairing?
I'm assuming it's a hidden antenna. If so, then what brand is it and does it work?

riteway,

Yes, this is it for speaker size. I doubt there is any real way to go bigger. You are limited space-wise.

Jeepin79,

We make the deal sweeter. $235.00 shipped free and a FREE DR. V-TWIN t-shirt. Trust us on this one. They are worth every penny! You will be amazed at the sound output.

Texas Fat Boy,

That white pipe you see is the old hidden antenna. That is the Kuryakyn Tune Trapper. We've since replaced the Kuryakyn Tune Trapper hidden antenna with the J&M FLEXPOWER AM/FM/WB hidden antenna and the results are very impressive. We just didn't take pics after we swapped antennas.

Thanks!

Shawn

Thanks for the pics and pricing.

Question: The bike already has an HT Hog Pod (tweeters) installed, and the J&M's come with a separately wired tweeter, as well; how do the multiple tweeters work.

Seems like the J&M's would be a cost effective alternative to the HT Hog Pod tweeters. I ask because I have the HT Hog Pod and don't know the advantage of adding another pair of separately wired tweeters.

Thanks again for the pics and pricing.

ybnorml & Monstermile,

Just let us know when you want a set and we will make it happen at the $235.00 shipped price, but let's hope we have enough t-shirts to go around at the time you guys place your orders. We run out of our shirts frequently and have blanket orders for them all the time, but sometimes we are in between orders and don't have any shirts for orders placed during that time.

Harleypingman,

The Hogtunes tweeter pod enhances the sound of the audio coming through from the main fairing speakers. According to Hogtunes themselves, the tweeter pod is a great addition to ANY existing audio setup. You don't have to worry about the tweeter pod having a negative effect on the sound coming through as it just adds more sound.

Thanks!

Shawn
