My bike is going in later this week for some new Bob Wood cams & valve springs and at the same time re-gearing. Going 2 less teeth in front and 2 more on the rear, keeping the same belt. Will post a dyno sheet when I get it back.

where is the pulley from?
Harley?
I assume it is an inch pulley
ok, would love to know how it all goes
regarding any belt, belt guard issues, etc
what the rpm effect is
I might have to rethink and consider "going lower"

Got the idea direct from Bob Wood, when I ordered a set of his cams a few weeks ago from his online-shop in Alabama. He had the gear ratio in his head that the minus 2 front and plus 2 rear sprocket would give to a current dyna 6 speed. The man is a walking encyclopedia for all things cams, and engines in general. The speedo error the gearing change will induce is to be corrected by a speedo-healer or similar device. I like my speedo and odo reading correctly.
I am using TTS so speedo correction is easy
I have already adjusted for the 30T front I am using, and seems very accurate
I am quite happy with the current set-up, but would certainly consider going lower, just not higher again
I assume that the extra belt slack given by the 30T front makes it possible to fit the 70 T rear
Guess we will soon know
What tuner are you using?

Using the Harley SERT for tuning.
The front 30 tooth sprocket is an Andrews for 6 speed trannys
Andrews #290306
The rear sprocket Harley part # 40576-06, black 70 tooth. 70 tooth ?!?!?HMMMMMM, I had specified a 68 tooth, oh, well the 70 tooth will give it an even lower final
drive, so it should be cleaning the rubber off the tread just a little more ... gotta do my part with the economy and all.
Needed a rear axle spacer for it as well #40947-06.
