Sweeet! I usually stay at my brothers place in St Cloud and we rie back and forth to Daytona or wherever. Sometimes they like to stay right in Daytona for because they like to drink so riding 70 miles home is usually not a good idea!

Cabbage Patch is a cool place to camp, but there are inexpensive places to stay in the area.

I will probably stay at my parents house about an hour away. But, if I were you I would take flstfjeff's recommendation and just wing it, walk in when you get there rates will be less.

The best place to look for a cheap motel in Daytona is 1979.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

The suggestion to show up without a reservation is probably the best one for a cheap room, but not 100%.

Since the yups drove the prices throughthe roof, this old retired guy has been a camper. A little frosty last Spring at the ABATE campground ($16/nite) wih overnite lows in the low 30's. I'm planning Biketoberfest at the Cabbage Patch.

Stayed in Ormond Beach last year for less than $100 a night with a kitchenette at The Best Western OB. Short ride, about four miles, to Downtown Daytona Beach. The grocery store was less than a mile away.

Default The best hotel deal I could find

3 Nights at the Bermuda House for up to 4 adults in an oceanfront room...$329...and it includes free breakfast and Wi-Fi. There's a catch though...you have to sit through a sales presentation for 90 minutes. In this economy...I'm not to proud to do it. I looked everywhere...and this is the best I could find. Go to daytona-deals.com to make reservations.
