If I am understanding this right you are required to ride the speed limit and are timed. It appears you can ride as long as you possibly can but riding faster will work against you. I think the key is the route and bet from what I read it will really be the most challenging part.

My plan is to ride my bike down to Key West just before I come back to work in Jan. I'll put it in storage down there.

I will fly from wherever my tour is to start the Challenge and ride the race just like I drive my truck on a long run (ain't sayin how I do that). There is no reason to have to ride "Hell bent for leather" but I'm sure some will.

I'm even thinking about asking the band to sponsor me. Hell the cost of the whole trip for me is probably less than they pull in from 30 minutes of Merchandise sales.

I'm thinking I should be able to finish in less than 10 days as long as I don't run into any serious problems. It will be tough and will hurt like hell but as long as I convince myself it's only temporary I should be just fine.

If I had dismissed everything that didn't seem right from the git I would have miissed out on a Hell of allot over the course of my life.

I've been more places and seen more chit than a person should be allowed to and it's because I'm willing to "take the chance".

Sometimes it works out...Sometimes it don't. But I'm still here and have some great memories and story's because of it.

if its legit let me know. i know there are similar races (the great race is canceled this year) but the terms and conditions of this race seem extremely sketchy to me. one clause is downright illegal.

if i entered a race like this, i'd win.

Which clause are you referring to as "illegal"?
