V Rod wheels on 06 Dyna
I think I've read all or most of the past comments on this conversion but I still haven't solved my problem. I have a set of Harley black five spoke cast wheels I am attempting to mount on my 2006 Dyna. The front is taken care of with V Rod lowers but the rear stumps me. Does one of the earlier V Rods use a pulley that bolts to the wheel without the compensator bowl? It seem to me thtat if I can get a bolt on pulley it will solve the width and allignment problems by eliminating the compensator bowl. Thanks for your help guys. I've been a member of the forum for a long time but I'm just beginning to really use it to its potential.

Kinda doing the same thing. Wish I had the VROD rear, But I am using a solid 5 1/2" dish wheel off of a softail, Got my own problems with it. But if you want the VROD internals for the VROD lowers I have them - brand new, never used. As you know the front wheel just bolts right up with no problems. Be sure to get the Brembo brakes ,,, worth the extra $ I feel. After a few more weeks of saving I will be able to hook everything up. Will provide pics. LOL I gues I didn't answer your question either ... Just a shameless plug for my spare parts. Your best bet is to jack it up and put your existing pully on and check for fit and alignment, you may need new spacers.
