I`ve put about 3000 miles on the old 70flh this summer.One bad plug wire!Yeah shovels ain`t reliable.Point and shoot cookie cutters just ain`t me.

Does anyone have any knowledge of the crane cams HI-4 ignition ? It was on this bike when I purchased it,seems to work fine.I used Dyna in my 83 flht and it was fine too.Let me know your opinions.

Here's mine in proto stage.

New pix coming. This is first assembly.
1974 cases, EL Rightside Wheels modified for newer pins.
S&S Big Bore Cylinders. Rivera SU Carb.
Titanium rods, courtesy Boeing. Venolia pistons 10.5:1, Lineweber J5 Cam.
Triumph close ratio 5-Speed run w/Karata Belt Drive.
Lots more, tweaky ****.

S&S swore I couldn't build this engine, even argued with me, wouldn't cut the cylinders, so had to drop wrist pin .200" for the shorter stroke.
Anyone want a set of S&S pistons w/rings???

1969 flh frame

have a question, trying to determine if my harley frame is actually a 1969. Numbers below upper motor mount 9L. i have a vin boss on the frame with no numbers.
