What are you looking to get for those wheels and tires or just the wheels if you have kept the stock tires? TIA, Mark in the Big Easy
Just the wheels as you see them in the pics, the tires are on the bike. And. honestly, I do now know what to ask for the wheels. I'm seriously asking for help even if your not interested.
I got lucky and ran into a Harley mechanic so I asked about pricing my take offs.
He said that getting $300 for the set of wheels since they are complete would be doing well but, I'm not greedy. Make an offer.
Also, the tins, he said if I dented a tank and needed to replace it, together they would be $900 new but getting $400 for the take offs would be acceptable. Make an offer.
As far as the pipes, for now I think I'll hang onto them. I'll have to see what else is there, I haven't even gone through the boxes yet.
How about a price for the front fender??? I dented mine. I'm planning to repaint my bike this winter, so it's either replace the fender or try to get the dent worked out prior to paint. If the price is right, I'd rather just get a fender and then do the paint work this winter when work picks up
