I'll probably be going with some HD grips this winter when I do the apes and start the "black out" process. We'll see if they are any better.

Mine were actually a little sloppy and I was able to readjust and got all of the slop out.

Mine are also a little sloppy. Although, most of it is gone after I played with the switch housing.

i put a set on a '09 road king and had to ajust/move the switch housings a bit. after doing so, they work great with no noticably slop.

I see that this thread is rather old but just bought PM/RSD chrono grips and was wondering what readjusting you did to loose the slop. haven't installed them yet so maybe there will be a fitment difference since 09 and now but curious what you did.

So just installed my Roland sands chrono grips and went smoother then expected. Clutch side had to tap two dimples to let the set screws sit. I also added some glue for S &G's. throttle side no issues.
