In an old-school frame of mind, when a guy's horse comes-up lame, I couldn't bring myself to leaving Dale behind by himself. I felt duty-bound to wait with Dale.
I believe it was good karma, because as soon as the other three left us to head for Hooters, Dale came across an ice bin full of free beer. We enjoyed a couple of free ones each, and debated whether or not the Hooter Girls could top a few of those motoclothes gals we were watching. Heeeeeee heeee heeee.
Dale and I got the better deal because not only did we have a couple of free beers, we still made it to Hooters to enjoy wings and the scenery. Heeeeeee heeeee heee.
Paul did offer to let Dale ride bitch. Dale said no effin way the pic would end up on here. All in all was a great day and leave it to the Florida Crew to find free cold beer.
i side with paul on this one. free beer and then hooters. yes the motorclothes ladies are stunning at most dealerships.
my question was it the really the PC-5 that was causing the problem? what was the resolution?

Jaime doesn't seem to think so. I'm still working with the dealer to give me an acceptable explanation of what they did and why they seem to think the PCV caused it. It was fine for about 140 miles on the way home.

Did you fail to mention that the dealer dis-abled/disengaged your 'parade mode'?
...and we did not abandon anyone. It's not like we turned the lights off and locked the
dealership, flattened his tires and rode back home without him. We were a 1/4 mile away.....AT A FREAKIN' HOOTERS!
I am glad things worked out the way it did...Paul and Dale got free beer.
I got to buy a new Harley t-shirt, Barbara got to shop and didn't buy nothin'.
I hope you get the bike dialed in Dale.
All in all it was a good ride.
I had a really good time. I want to do that ride again in a couple weeks and hopefully this time make it there. We were only about 30 miles from our destination when we got sidetracked.
