I-Pod Touch Alternative
Okay, it is not an I-Pod Touch, but is is more versatile and more stuff for a lot less money. For sale is a 4 year old Dell Axim x50, it works great as an mp3 player, touch screen and all. Put your music on Compact Flash and/or Secure Digital cards and you have unlimited storage capacity. Different music? Keep it on different cards.
It takes CF cards up to 16 gb and SD cards up to 4 gb so you can have up to 20 gb of storage with more on separate cards and they are pretty cheap to come by for the extra storage.
Here is what have with this little PDA:
OS- Windows Mobile 2003 SE
8 gb CF Card
4 gb CF Card
256 mb CF Card
2 Gig SD Card
Bluetooth enabled
Wi-Fi enabled
MS Pocket Excel
MS Pocket Word
Windows Media Player 10.0
Pocket Music mp3 player/organizer
This syncs with MS Outlook for all of your contacts and appointments, music syncs with your desktop Win Media Player, no extra software to buy or deal with.
The screen can be set to portrait or landscape mode.
Car charger included
2 wall chargers included
Desktop USB sync cradle
I've used this as an mp3 player primarily for the last year or so, works great. I received another player as a gift and no longer need this one. Battery holds a good charge, but can be charged while you drive or listen at home.
