Default End of the Low Rider.........

Hate to hear HD is discontinuing the Low Rider from their 2010 models.
What a shame. I don't understand why, but it must be a drop in orders or because it was one of the most expensive of the Dyna's. I know it was a favorite amound the women folk because of the low seat height.
Anyway.....for those of you who have Low Riders, if you were planning on getting specific accessories for it, you better do it this year, before the parts supply for the Low Riders dry up and you wont be able to order them.

RIP Low Rider, sad to see you ride off into the sunset.

One site says they are going to discontinue the xl883C (http://www.roadcarvin.com/2010-motor...avidson-rumors) and the other site says no (http://www.totalmotorcycle.com/photo...eyDavidson.htm).
We'll know when the time comes.

Well they have been making these for how many years? Do you really think the moco would stop making the parts when there has to be a million out there? Last I heard the moco loves making money on parts! Dicontinued or not.

Good thing for you is your low rider will probably become a collectors item someday. Expecially with that dragonfly green. Nice bike.

No 883N? I'm not so sure about this...
Of course, this happens every year before the dealer meeting. We won't know until someone leaks something or the MoCo website updates.

lowrider used to have a special frame - 32 deg in the neck.
now same frame as other dynas - so nothin special about it - black motor and a bit more chrome.

st bob sales killed the wide glide
fat bob sales probably killed the LR

The Street Bob will carry on.. basically the same bike. Damn near everything is interchangeable so parts wouldn't be a problem anyway
