I'll chime in and answer.
The TTS is the new tuning device that was designed by Steve Cole. He designed the S/E Race Tuner for Harley.
Has more flexibility for the tuner.
The spring, if not mistaken, is and pressure relief valve spring to enhance oil pressure.

The se 258 is going to move your power band up.
The 6hg is very close to the 7H I have, a little higher lift. All other spects same. It will have all the torque you can want. My motor makes power and will pull 6th. gear from 1500 RPM on. Strong cam but probably runs out 5500 RPM or a little less. I have never gone higher that 5000 cause I like riding not walking.
You want the 6H I figure a little more torque that the 7H.

scott and gunny are correct.
TTS is a far superior tuning device then anything on the market.
the 6hg will get you more tq and hp right off the bat then the 258 also it will out power the 258 every where on the rpm range.
remember with the 6hg you will need roller rockers talk to Dan baisley about them also .

tell Dan Baisley dave from JD's told you to call. or just call Dave he will give you a discount on the parts i know he gives forum members a a discount.

Currently having my 96 built to 103. Am having Dan Baisley do street heads for it, and will have roller rockers.
I am at 87 hp now, and 92 trq, so maybe.... it might make 100hp, and 100 trq. Just wanted a little more get up and go.

Cheers,

Mark

Default A Little help for the Field

Scott, Old Gunny, Sedeluxe & Hillsidecyclecom,

Will I need a larger than 50mm throttle body to feed the Baisley's Superstock heads, tw6 cam, Thunder Headers and the TTS?

If so, what size will be needed and what is the best on the market?

Dudes, you don't know how much I appriciate your help.

I don't think you'll need a larger throttle body. I'm running a similar set up with a stock throttle body (46mm).

You can look into your TB and see obvious places you can improve. 50 should be more that enough. Can put in bigger HD injectors if you want.

you could put a 55mm hpi on there if you wanted to. but imo if you dont need to why spend the coin now.

We see great results from bored 2-piece Delphi's.
We take 'em from 41-46.5mm as we manufacture our own throtttle plates.
Other shops call on us to provide that service quite often.
Remember that not only is the size of the t/body important, but the size/shape of the intake manifold.
One of the reasons that that HPI units rip.
