Most all our gas around here is 10%....don't have a choice, but I've used it in everything I own for many years. All the bikes I've owned have been stored for 5-6 months over winter with a full tank with some Yamaha fuel conditioner....have never had a problem starting or running the old gas out in the spring, but temperature does make a difference, in cold weather gas will stay good longer. I do run some Techron through all my vehicles a couple times a year just to make sure the injectors stay clean.

Up here in the Pacific Northwest (WA) 10% ethanol is the only thing available. We have a "green" governor and the 4-5 ruling counties (out of 39) have adopted California's emission regs. There is no logic behind gasohol. All it proves is that the Corn Belt has pushed the idea that ethanol somehow makes us less dependent on the middle east which is completely false.
I use Seafoam as a stabilizer and never have any issues. My bikes will sometimes sit for 5+ months at a time. This is a very good product that does as advertised. Try it, you'll like it.

Beemervet: Missouri is not normally "Kalifornicated", but we do have corn farmers and are now ethanol only. I just spent a hundred dollars getting 1/2 gallon of water out of my 5 gallon ATV tank. Un fricken believable but it happened. I believe the water problem with ethanol gas is something we will have to live with.

Looks like lots of conflicting information about this out there. Put ethanol phase separation into Google and have a read.
