Nice for sure. I own a 93 Fatboy and came back off of a 2000 mile road trip and never missed a beat. As it was mentioned here, warm them up for about a minute before taking off.

I run a 90' EVO with S&S carb now and have 45,000 plus miles on it now. It is the ONE engine of all (5-Knuckles 3-Panheads and 1 other EVO) that I've put miles (50+ plus miles per gallon) that doesn't leak oil, give fits in maintenance or trouble on the road.
Give it a few minutes to warm up while getting your gear on and it'll be ready to go with no problems.
Power is no problem as it will go as fast as the speed limit signs say you can and with the right jets, pipes, etc will make enough go fast and noise as you can try to get away with.

Looks good you wont be sorry. I have a 96 Heritage and love it. The reason i bought a evo is no electronics.

That is not entirely true! There are three electronic modules on my 1990 bike, the ignition system, alternator regulator, and indicators. In fact Harley was one of the first bike makers to adopt an electronic regulator.

Evo's are great hot rod motors also.Like anything mechanical as long as it is taken care of, it will take care of you.

I love my 93 flstf. wouldn't get rid of it if my life depended on it. STOCK FOR STOCK, i haven't had a 88 cube pull from me yet. my uncle has an 05 deluxe that in all honesty, i think sucks. my evo will beat it low, mid, and top. not only that, i don't need a computer to remap the ecu, i just reject my cv

Juaniosa, I used to place a clean pan under mine and when the oil stopped , just poured it back in. Also had a lifter come apart at 49k miles. If your bike is getting up in miles I strongly reccomend you change the lifters. It will trash your motor.,,,
