XR1200 Versus Buell XB12Scg, which is a better buy?
Which of these two Harley Davidson-built sport bikes is the better choice for the money? Is the XR1200's comfort and classic design worth the added money to you, or is the cheaper and more powerful Buell the better buy?
whats with all the comparisons? these two bikes are still a complete different animal. i dont think there is another bike made that you can really compare the xr 1200 with, the bike is in a class of its own,i think harley designed it to bring back the retro styling, apparently they didnt bring back all the power with it..im sure the xr 1200 is pretty fast but its not a buell or a crotch rocket either..
How about comparing the XR1200 to the 1200S? Seems to me to be a fair comparison, though I feel that the older S models are the better buy, and the better bike.

I had a 2002S before I bought my 1200R. Granted, much of the R suspension is now the same as the S in my case but to me the R is far superior. I would take the Buell Ulysses over the XR1200.

+100000000000000000000000000.......I'm tired of all the comparisons! It's a sportster, not a rocket.
Heh.. I didn't buy the XR1200 to go XXXmph. Even when I get passed by a power ranger I just shrug and carry on. Funny when I stop some place and people ignore the Voltron bikes and ask me about it.
It's not a typical Harley but still has the soul just in a different flavor. I don't need to prove to anyone it's a better performer.
