The XRs are already en route to dealers. My dealer called and said that mine should be here tomorrow or Wednesday. I had put a deposit down on 11/21 (Friday) which means that it would have had to ship out no later than the day before Thanksgiving.
It's either that or I'm getting a punked by my dealer.

LOL crap, you gotta be kidding me!!! I had the sales manager look at our order on, I think HDU??? and he said that is was DUE TO SHIP on 12/9. Hmmm, I think my Dyna is sold for tomorrow, so I should be good. What number are you?

My dealer never told me what number I was. But, my order was put into the system literally within 30 minutes of the notification the dealers received on 11/21.
on Wed when I put my deposit down my dealer told me they had ordered 3 already and that the first one they got was mine
He wasn't sure when they would come in
Yeah, I talked to a guy who was number 149 and he put his order in on the 21st. My order was put in the 22nd and I am 170. Im curious to see how quickly the bike comes in. I hope...
boohoo, dealers have to have an actual order from a customer to get the bikes. The names cant change, as-in a dealer trying to get their hands a bunch. All 750 or until Dec 15 have to be tagged to real customers. If I were you, I would have your dealer double check your order and tell him to give you the number you are. I have been hearing a bunch of stories like that, and I hate to see customers getting screwed cause their dealers are screw-ups.
