Hey, I just installed mine, seem to go well..
I have yet to have the dealer flash the ecm, is it normal not to have signals at this point? I'm hoping the flash will fix the problem.
I just installed mine this afternoon and haven't been to the dealer yet.
Only one problem. The new bottom right switch housing doesn't have an indentation for the original friction adjustment ****. As a result no throttle friction whatsoever.

What do you use to replace or fix it?
Thanks
The throttle friction adjustment function is eliminated with cruise control is installed. You would not want one working against the other.
Thanks Bertk. I understand but the 08 has a servo and not a cable so there is no friction conflict with the grip. It's just that now the grip has no friction whatsoever and just flops around.
The only time I ever used the friction function was to lock the throttle open when cursing the open road. I never actually used it to apply friction to the grip all the time. And I don't notice the grip flopping around, then again I may just be use to it. I must say, I do love having cruise control.
Try sliding the brake mount and switch housing up the bar very slightly. Be careful not to go to far or the throttle will drag to much and won't return to idle properly.
