Solo Sportster Seat & Luggage Rack for the Fat Bob
Garage built and powder coated matt black, dedicated solo luggage rack and custom fitted Sportster seat. Own what no else has for only $200.
I wanted a solo seat for my DF that didn't swollow up the bottom end of the tank and... I had this seat in the garage which had been on my 92 XL.
I fabbed up some seat tab connection extension thingies and whalla... had a hot rod solo seat that moved me closer the tank and lower to the ground.
Then I went shopping for a solo rack, but couldn't find what I wanted... so I made my own.
It was about 700 miles later I realized that I was uncomfortable riding in a position that moved me closer to the tank.
So I swaped out the Sportster seat with a modified Street Bob seat as pictured in this link: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/motorcycles-for-sale/279516-08-fat-bob-in-ohio-for-14k.html
but the rack wouldn't work... so I made another rack.
The long story short is; I've got this luggage rack and seat combo that would be perfect for some one just sitting around my garage.
The seat works with out the rack, but the rack wont work with another seat (see the last pic).
