Well, if the message title is just as it reads: "trip FROM DFW to So Cal May 30 thru June 2nd", I assume Sublime 1 is willing to transport the Mascot from my neck of the woods to his listed home state of California.
Sublime1, I appreciate your willingness to help transport the Mascot....It's just that, that...we just got it OUT of Southern California this spring after being there since around November of last year. The Mascot has no "official" route of travel or timeframe to be in a certain place at a certain time, but the general consensus is to have it hang around up north duringthe summer months because there's a definitely limited riding season. It will also be in Effingham, Il at the HDForums Rally at the end of June. That's really the ONE place it should be every year, unless the Site Administrator says otherwise. Some have wanted it to go to Sturgis again this year, and several more (myself included) would really like tosee it make an appearance at the Harley Davidson 105thCelebration in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
It's currently in Billings, Montana. Unfortunately it's simply not anywhere close to the DFW area right now, nor will it be until October or November....MAYBE! Now, if you're still interestedin helping out then, we'll be in touch. If it makes it out this way toward the end of the year, we could DEFINITELY use your help.
Oh, and for the record, I'm just simply an interested bystander who has amused himself tracking the Mascot over the last few months. Kinda like, "Where's Waldo!"
I'd be honored to transport it, or even SEE it, sometime, though.
