I don't recommend doing any business with NEXL. I ordered an NXT helmet over 7 months, no helmet, no refund, no response to emails or phone calls. Filed with the BBB, nothing. Check the BBB record online, I wish I did before giving them $159.99
I have 2. Never had a problem and got the helmets within 2 weeks. Wife and I both love em. Buddy of mine tried to buy one, got the run around and finally had his credit card company go after them to refund his money. Not sure if I got lucky or he just got screwed, but with the number of small DOT rated helmets out now, I'd probably go the path of least resistance and shy away from NEXL. Try HCI or ACC
I placed an order with nexl sports back in July of 06..............now its May of 08 and still have no helmet.
They don't answer their emails, phone call goes to voicemail and then can't even leave a message.
I reported them to the BBB and pretty much they can't do nothing, according to them the owner of the company passed away,
and they haven't been able to work without him.........sounds like total crap to me.
I heard th helmets a great, too bad the company & their customer service really sucks.........keep away from this company.
And if anyone else knows a place where I could buy a nexl helmet without getting ripped off, please let me know...
I ordered from them and got the same crap about being behind and estimated shipping dates over and over again. After omore than six months I still did not have the helmet. I did finally get them to put the credit back on the card. It is a shame I have several friends with the helmets they bought several years ago and they cannot say enough good about the product.
