Id like to put one on one of my sportsters. Saw oneadfor aural sidecaron EBAY last week. guy was selling sporty with or without ural sidecar. But did not show picture with side car attached to bike.
i was thinking the same thing. my son really wants to go with me but hes 4 and theres no way i could feel safe with him on the seat. i foundsome side cars online and they sell for around 4 grand. somday ill find a used one. brian
I have seen several. There is a lady in my town with one on her Sporty. Also there is a guy in the Hickory, NC area who is handicapped and uses one. His is a custom job with a drop down ramp in the rear. He rides his wheel chair in and then operates the motorcycle with controls that have been moved over in front of him. He really gets around on it. I have seen him at Myrtle BW on it.
Champion Sidecar in Huntington Beach; Legend and Escort modelsfits 750cc and over. We were looking at them for the 03 883 XLH, but triked out a Electra Glide for touring instead. We still have the Sporty and I am undecided as what to do with it.
Side cars are a different ride. If you are really condidering this, check out the info on some of the trike and side car threads. One rider lost a lower leg and taught himself, after doinga lot of resource reading.
There are also three wheel classes offered through EverGreen, MSF basic courses. They will get your through the 'gotta think different' parts of the skill set.
