I don't know if this helps, or if it's even totally accurate, but I remember reading somewhere that the TSM holds "x" number of codes and then begins to over write the earlier ones.
That is a communication code.The data is not lost it isn't being transmitted or it isn't being received one or the other.It could be a bad wire or a bad "module".You will need a wiring diagram for your bike to diagnose it and a digital multimeter.
