Hydraulic Clutch
If it was easy everybody would be doing it, I'm having problems with a custom set up , I have a Ness Radius hydraulic clutch handle and Rivera Hc 100 hydraulic cover. I chose this set up because I'm runing everything throught the handle bars ( Beach bars) no wires no cables to see. Everything on the custom works great except the clutch. the first thing is that it is twice as hard to pull than regular cable( can't even hold it too long at a red light) , and after a while if I hold it for a long time I lose pressure like it's by-passing the seals, I have put 3 kits in it , the last one was bought and installed by Ness in Daytona within 30 minutes I had lost pressure again , I only lose pressure when I'm putting pressure on the system. I'm using a 1981 FLT tranny with the old style clutch pre-evo because I'm running a secondary chain not a belt . I'm usually pretty good at making a diagostic , I'm ASE certified and have been in the automotive field for 20 years, but this one here is got me!!!
