My Indy dealer got the tires from Drag Specialities if I remember right. I will specify when I order some new tires to check where they are made too. At the speeds I ride I don't want to see problems with the side of the tire going out. But I bet yer butt that Metzler will be on top of this pretty soon.

metzler ME880
150/70/18
build date 11/06

made in brazil

call the dealership and ask.
im just looking out for us because if we dont who will?
good luck and check yo chit!

Mine is 170/60 17" Glad they ain't that size. I sure do like my metz's

Didn't you hear?The dealers(tire dealers that is) said it isn't the tires it's the air pressures.

That tire size sound odd to me.

its for a bagger thats why its that size.
thats what pm wheels suggested to fit on that bike

That tire size sound odd to me.
Nothing odd about that size. I run 140/70/18 because the load rating is much higher than the 150 and I did not feel comfy with the lower rating on a Bagger. Additionally, those tires like lotsa air. I run 50~52psi in my rear when cold.

Mine are are also the Brazillian made. Guess I'll look into this too.

I will try to call my Drag rep tommorrow and get the scoop, I havent had anybody complain, and well sell a ton of Met's. I will post as soon as I find anything out.

Oh Crap,

I just received a new 21" Metzeler ME880for my wide glide from Drag Specialties that I haven't installed yet. It says Brazil on it. This thread is raising concerns. I hope to get more positive post.
