4 up in minot, all very good suggestions indeed. don't forget when the plugs are pulled to spin the motor for the fogging oil to ground out the plugs so that you don't trip any engine codes or screw up your ecm/ignition sys. another good source is the oct 2007 issue of American Iron Magazine, good article on how to put them to bed. waking up the beast is so much fun. probably in your extreme cold i would pull the seat off and pull the battery and put them in a warmer climate (house basement). my storage is about a month away.

I have a somewhat different problem in that Billings, MT in the winter can be -10 or 65 & sunny. I painted my house 2 years ago in February and it was in the 60's. Snow & cold come and go, so the bikes here don't sit for the winter. Going to get a battery tender. Other than that, I'm open for any advice members can provide.
