CPAP machines

Has anyone ever packed one on a bike trip? Did it stand up to the vibration? Did it still work when you got home?

I know that it is a relatively durable machine. Many of the guys I work with take them back and forth from work when working night shifts (we are allowed to sleep on the job). It is probably most important to protect the circuit (the part from machine to your nose) making sure it doesn't crimp. Other then that you should be fine, I can't imagine that the vibration will affect it as these are under the same standards as portable medical equipment and do undergo vibration testing.

I have a resmed unit and I have not had any problems, I have taken it on planes and the baggage boys didnt kill it. You should be fine.

Been traveling with mine both on the Harley and my sport bike for years. Never had any problem other than it taking up valuable packing space on trips.

Carry one in my tour-Pak on extended trips. Once dumped bike in mountains of W.Va. and still had no problem.

Mine is in my sic pic on top of the Nelson Rigg bag that I carried to Colorado. It was either going there or in the tour pack. I haven't had any problems carrying it, even on the FXRS. The bag was more exposed on the FXRS, but I wrapped the machine up in a trash bag before putting it in the carrying case. I just had some light rain on that trip and it never got wet...
