I agree!! I can't say enough good things about this company. I have a melon head and ordered the large DOT. It didn't fit so I sent it back to be "re-shaped" which they did very quickly and returned. Still didn't fit right so I returned it for a full refund which they did happily. Months later, after looking unsuccessfully for a 1/2 helmet that I liked, I ordered a non-DOT from them (they fit different). They remembered me for before!! They gave me my 10% HDForum discount and took care of the shipping because of my previous attempts to get the DOT to fit. The helmet is great and so are the people. Kudos.

Nexl returned my email very quickly, Of course, they don't owe me a helmet or any money. Here is a copy of the email I sent to them and their response.

This was the response from Gil Williams [gil@nexlsports.com]:
the magic word, yes we have some upset customers but we do either ship
or refund if we don't, and sometimes we don't return messages in a
timely fashion but most of the time we do.

I can definitely still recommend Advance Carbon Composites. Great lightweight helmet and great service.

Go here and write a review worked for me when I had sent my $3000.00 camera into a warranty company and they lost it and had a few words with them and they said they were not going to send me nothing (insert long story here) and they responded in 2 hours after the post went up had new camera next day, and it was the first post on their company, might want to warn others also I look there before buying from someone on the net. Hope this helps.

The company first had DOT compliance problems (failures) in 2002, first year of production IIRC. Same in 2003, 2004 & 2005. If they were selling dollar billsfor fifty cents, I wouldn't buy them.

Well, I just read on a forum that your company is refusing to issue a refund for motorcycle helmet that was purchased months ago. Congratulations, you lost my business. Now, how's about doing the right thing and issuing the man his refund.

I bought my NEXL from an independat dealer, but when I had a helmet recall for the DOT compliance, they took no time at all getting me the UPS slip for shipping my 3 helmets in and they fixed them all, even cleaned the bugs and stuff off of them, and had them back to me in 2 weeks. Not sure how they are now, but I was reasonably happy with their customer service. Good luck whichever way you go.

Still no helmet. They have promised the helmet and a refund on a number of occasions, still nothing on those promises. It's been over a year, can't imagine I will ever see my refund but can always hope. Just a warning to others, DO NOT deal with www.nexlsports.com.
