In April of this year I purchased a helmet frm nexlsports.com. This company reportedly prides itself in a light DOT Helmet with a thin profile. The helmet was $158.00. Well, after five months of being told it would ship in twp weeks the I finally asked for a refund in August. I was told I would receive the refund in two weeks. After 3 months the company is now not returning phone calls or returning e-mails. Their web site is still up and running at www.nexlsports.com. I strongly recommend you do not do business with this company.

i'm generally happy with the NXT helmet i have. it's still not as close to a novelty helmet as i would like but it's thinner and litter than the two H-Ds i have. i got mine on eBay brand new for $56.
I have had the same problem with my order with Nexl. I ordered a helmet on 4/2/07 and was told (via the website) that the helmet would ship in 4 weeks. After 6 weeks I began sending emails and leaving phone messages. No response to any of them.I paid for my order through GOOGLE Checkout.
GOOD NEWS!!!! I contacted GOOGLE Checkout support on 6/18/07,explaining my problem and asked how I might get a refund. I got a return email 4 or 5 hours later from Checkoutsaying that they would contact Nexl and I would be contacted by Nexl or GOOGLE within 5 days. I just got an email from GOOGLE today (6/22/07) saying that my order has been canceled and a full refund has been issued to my card! I logged onmy GOOGLE checkout account as well as Nexl's site and confirmed that my order has been cancelled and my money refunded. Hopefully the rest of you can get the same results by going through GOOGLE. The email address is.... checkout-support@google.com
I hate that we are all going through this. I ordered a helmet from Nexl in 2004 and still wear it today. I just hate that their customer relations has gone so sour.
One of my riding buddies went through the same crap with that company. Never returned email, phone calls...nothing. He never got his helmet, nor a refund. We never even mention that company around him.....he gets pissed[:@]
You are right, nightglide. I just sent an email to the Nexl sales department and told them that word was getting around about them stiffing fellow bikers. And next time, everyonewho is interested shouldlook into Advance Carbon Composites at http://www.carbonfiberhelmets.com/for a great, lightweight helmet and great customer service.
