I bought a 2004 Wide Glide (used, 431 miles on the clock) and it had the SE II slip-ons. Within four days I had V&H Big Shot Staggered installed. The slip-ons are not perfect but, I feel they are a good deal for the money ($100.00 and I'll pay the shipping).
A little more info on the slip-ons. A member provided a link to the Screaming Eagle Race parts and that is where I found the following:
Part Number: 80258-99A
Baloney-Cut Chrome
Fits '95 and later Dynas
Price: $229.95
If a person was in the Tampa Bay area I will sell them for $80.00. The mufflers are pretty heavy and that's why I am asking $100.00 and I pay the shipping.
Okay. The pictures are the best I can do. Can't get enough light as the sun is not out today. I will back off my original estimate of 98 percent and make it 80 percent. I rather be safe then cheat someone.
The dealer must have scubbed out the inside of the exhaust when they put the bike up for sale. The two red boxes are dull spots on the chrome. They don't appear to be into the chrome but the chrome polish I have wouldn't shine them up. I really didn't put a lot of effort into it. The rectangle is some light scratches. The do have some other light scratches on them. That being said I don't think a person would be diappointed for the price compared to the price of new slip-ons.
