I've said it before and I will say it again. You have two worlds of motorcycles, Those that are Harley and those that want to be Harley. If you don't like it your denying the facts and denying yourself. I rode many different bikes in the 24+ years of riding, in fact for many years I hated Harley. The reason was because of pure jealousy that I couldn't own a real bike. This is a Harley forum and not a general motorcycle forum. You support other bikes? fine but don't come to our neighborhood to stir the pot. Your playing with the big boys here and your going to get your feelings hurt if your not careful.

on another note those who want to be harley and those who dont...jealous ummm NO it was a night train or my 8ball and when i broke down to simple facts i went with the 8ball...i preferred the styling,comfort,and performance over the night train...
now i am at the point where i want something to go on longer rides than 300 miles in comfort...the obvious choice for me is harley davidson...as stated before i gave victory a chance to make their tourer...and i made a mistake...but i waited because i like their previous endevors....only thing that angers me is i turned down a deal on a street glide to wait for this thing and now i have to locate another...
DISCLAIMER:
i have just made a simple statement and a personal comparison on why i chose my 8ball over a harley...i will have a street glide by summer that is why i am here(research)and in no way was i trying to downgrade the night train i just made a personal choice...so please dont call out the big boys to hurt my feelings...i have a real thick skin and i would'nt want you to waste your time trying!!!!!!!

As for the Vision .... I was waiting to see what this bike would look like .... Having seen it , At first I hated it when I saw a few bad pics.
Since then I've seen hundreds of pics on it and Victory has a nice 360o view of it. And the more I look the more I like it. Whether I'd like it enough to buy one , I don't know. But I'll bet they do well with this bike. You sure can't fault their engineering. Victories consistently get great reviews. Most I've seen are very good looking bikes.
They actually did a few things that Harley Davidson riders should be greatful for ... can we say 6 speed , 96cu and 180+ rear tires. Don't kid yourself ... HDmade these changesin response to Victory , not the Japanese bikes.
Right now I'll give Victory credit for not making another Harley Clone and reserve judgement til I see one in the flesh.
Seeing as how the buzz on it right now is it will sell for somewhere around +/- $25k ... you certainly would have to be ignorant to say anyone bought this cause they couldn't afford a Harley.
