RE: Was this designer HAMMERED or what...2008 Victory Vision?
Definately different...... and there will be those that buy it.
Poking around the site, I also looked at the "street" version and well it is uglier than the tour model.
I did notice some some of the "inovations" that would be nice to have on my Ultra.
Power Windshield and Wind Deflectors at the "push of a button". Thats neat!!!
I have to remove six screws to change my wind deflectors on the fairing,or three screws and have another windshield to change the windshield height on the ultra.
They have also added more lighting to the rear, which is also a good idea.

There were a number of competing design exercises, and rider input was considered in choosing this design via polls. I suspect this model will have sales success.
What are the odds of them picking that many sarcastic people for their rider input? And then not getting it, that they were being sarcastic. Whew! All them big sweeping curves look like wasted space to me. I want room to take more stuff on a bagger. There are some things that are so ugly that they are cute. I am one of them. That bike is just so ugly.

Looks like a bastardized BMW to me. But I always like the little bit different bikes so I think it could grow on me. Maybe I'm just trying to like it because it is a Victory and I like the quite a few bikes in Victorys line up.

I didn't notice initially the power windshield and stuff? Seems like they are doing the USA made, Gold Wing look, and BMW accesories thing? Maybe they are trying to wrap every kind of bike up into one?

<-------- Woudln't own a Victory. to me a Victory is a Japanese bike made in the US. Plus they are the ugliest looking pieces of crap out there!!!
