No its not my first bike, so again your wrong.
Hey, just thought I would give you a heads up, so when you pull up to a bunch of harley people you know what they are laughing about. I could care less what you ride to live on or live to ride on. So its not your first bike, but I said its your "first harley", and bet Im right.[sm=happybounce.gif]
ultra2006 just blow it off it a very well known fact some just don't play well with others. The reasons may be endless on why they feel the need to put other people down. Heres just a few:
[ol][*]As kids they had to wear converse all stars when everyone else had Nikes.[*]They rode a huffy when everyone else was on a Schwinn.[*]They played with matchbox when everyone had Hot wheels[/ol]
Maybe others can add to this list.

4. We drank pepsi when others drank Coke
5. We made C's when others made A's
6. We liked Girls when others liked Guy's
7. We didn't put Live to Ride on our Hogs, come to think of it, Nobody did that[sm=icon_rofl.gif]
I still don't see what the big deal is with someone going with the live to ride theme on their bike. Outdated? So what? I don't have it on my bike but I like the design, I don't care how long its been around.Along that same line of thinking, I guess I should go ahead and sell my Harley..Why? Because all themetric riders will laugh at me when I pull up on my outdated relic that has been around since 1903.

Shhh it was the cool guys that put that stuff on the bikes , but thats right you were never allowed around that crowd. If thats what he wants on his bike ore power to him, I know a few people with that L2R stuff on thier bike and they are just as proud of it as you are with any piece of tacky chrome you have put on your bike! Back off and let people do what they want.

It's not about out dated items, everyone use's old stuff and different styles of add on's. I have no idea why the "Live to Ride" stuff became such a joke among many harley riders but it has. I was Asst.Director of our H.O.G. Chapter for years and my son worked a long time at our dealership and I saw it first hand. Noticed it first from the parts guys who would laugh at the guy who wanted it as he left with a bag full of it. Had a friend who added every piece he could get to his sporty 1200 and he had a bunch, he got hammered about it every where we went. I was just passing on info, like telling a guy his fly is down before he walks into hooters, just being a good guy and as always the messenger gets blasted.[sm=grinangel.gif] Like I said, I could care less what he or anyone else does to their bike. Hope he finds everything he wants!
You guys crack me up! who gives a $hit what the guy has on his bike? All he did was ask if anyone knew where he could find it, simple yes or no would do. as far as it being a joke, I have seen that stuff, along with the flames, skulls and every other theme that harley sells on many bikes, no one that I ride with laughs at it and it must be selling because Harley is still selling it. So all I've got to say is Brother if that is your style go for it and anyone who don't like can F off. now you can bash me gunner
I have the Gold "Live to Ride" eagle for my fuel door. I liked the way it looks, who gives a crap what someone else thinks. You can almost see it in this pic!
