The PC adds or deletes Percentages of Change (Fuel VE F or R), or adds or deletes ignition timing (+/- 11 degrees of curve) FROM THE BASE MAP that is installed in the ECM.....

RevXtend is a Data Copycat, that takes the settings from 5400 and copies them and allows the motor to rev higher by STOPPING the normal Tach signal, and duplicating the Fuel/Spark tables to 6000 RPM....
