Recall on 07 Harley-Davidsons
I last thing on HD C/S personal.. They have around 16 or 17 working this area.. So you see the problem is being passed around
in the room. The Soups are a Guy named Rusty and and Gal named Kate.. They are VERY well trained in getting you thru the system
on this issue. Most of the time it's GO BACK TO YOUR DEALER..what if the Dealer was told up front within less than 100 miles of giving
them the old hard earned money you worked for and then bumping heads. Isn't this where HD C/S comes in...NOPE! Personally I have
asked to go to another dealer but since I did the SERT and slip-ons and Stage I you would think things would be ok. WRONG again.
Now I've got all this money in the bike and no help from our good friends at C/S so what direction do you have? It's simple..spend more
money and get them into court with your records of calls to C/S and the Dealer and emails(oh which they won't answer back) I look
to making them sweat on the stand alittle myself. If you can't get a brand new scoot to run right maybe later it should be a class action
on them. Oh how easy it would be to give the word and go to another Dealer and get help. I know of two others that have had the
same problems and are still not happy with their heat problems. Lets see what happens when its 100 degrees out running thru a big
city and the traffic is back to back. I bet even those new HOG cards for road asst. will be a big ? too! This is my second time around
with Harley. It was on my Dyna 1999 Cam bearings..You remember that one..No problem I was told..wait until you are a 2000 mile
ride from home and your hear this wonderful sound and then bang! Unless the Dealer tech said it was needed you had to cross your
fingers and ride them and go to a prayer meeting before you took off every morning. Lucky for me..a new cam change was thought up
and guess what..in the nick of time...Oh course I traded it in on the 07!!
All I can say is listen to these great guys like Shovelhead Bob who gives his time in trying to make it better for us scootor tramps out
there..Thanks to all of you for your input to help keep the wind in our hair!

If your 07 is stock or you have the fuel pack or the
PC III or the S/E pro fueler, you need to go and get it
DONE. When you go in for service and you have the
race tuner you NEED to tell them..... So they don't
just do the download. I hope this help all the confusion !!
I could tell riding home there was a definite difference. My seat of the pants evaluation is that it adds something at 2% throttle to maybe 10% throttle to shift the torque earlier. so there is not an abrupt roll on of the torque I used to feel at about 10% throttle. now it seems a little less pull at that point, but a LOT more pull before then. ie. smooth the torque. it seems to me to be adjusted in maybe the 1,2,3 gears
I have a PCIII USB and it updated fine and did not seem to affect it.
Maddog53....I'm screwed! I have the SERT but I put on SE off road slip-ons and the dealer NEVER said it would matter. I had even
asked about it also. They now have put in the file and I'm done as far as a freebie on getting it done free. I even called our buddies at HD C/S and got the
same it's the DEALER thing. I called another one and they looked up the VIN and the same reply. It says as long as its P&A street legal.
That's what I get for trusting a dealer again. Thanks however for the advice! From now on its parts off Ebay if I'm going to not get service anyway....At least I'll save money

Hey anyone missing a sister? She dropped by today...When Maria isn't on a bike can she be on here? Just asking...

asked tech which flash he put in and was told that c came in bike. "d" is what he added.
couldn't get the whole story but word is that the ecm wasn't properly adj O2 and fuel at low rpms. to lean. this fattens it up a bit.
asked about damage and was told none should have occured even with 7,000 mi.
works for me and the 5yr warranty lets me rest a bit easier........
The refined calibration will smooth the torque curve application in an manner that minimizes high shock loads to drive train components, which could cause engine damage.
example of high shock loads is lugging the engine during hard accelertation while operating under 1500 rpm.
and on some models will improve fuel economy during certain steady state driving conditions as well. etc.........
no specifics
already using the power commander , big sucker , and big radius.
Should I have the download done , and will the current pcIII MAP work ???

Has anyone measured your connecting rod lengths? I know it's been discussed. Could that be your bikes problem? If your bike gets fixed, there's hope for all of us!
