When you grow up riding one type of bike, it can be a little difficult to adjust to something new and different. Still, that doesn’t mean that a change like this is necessarily bad, especially when it involves leaving the world of street bikes and buying a Harley-Davidson. After all, moving to a hog is never a bad thing! Even so, it’s not as easy of a change as one might assume. This is even more true when the rider is hoping to do more than just cruise down the street.

But despite the learning curve, HDForums member Ben (A.K.A. “Ben Fauzio“) has been working hard to improve his new hog — a 2009 Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide — and make it into the perfect bike to fit his tastes. As it sits now, it has Thunderheader pipes, a Big Sucker intake, a Power Commander V, 11” risers, and much more. He also has crash bars, new pegs, and several other things on the way right now!

Though Ben’s still trying to figure out what exactly he wants to do with the motor, he’s certainly on his way to building a great ride! Go check out his build thread and show your support!
